NORTHERN ROOTS HOCKEY 

“It was my great pleasure to play in the 2nd Annual Northern Roots Pond Hockey Charity Tournament in NYC. I expected the event to be fantastic and it was. I was thrilled to put my hockey skills to the test and meet new friends as well as bring awareness to Gillian's cause. It encompassed my love for the game, my desire to support the iRise Above Foundation’s mission, and help bring awareness about the unique needs of young women with breast cancer. The event was well organized. Players believed in the cause and were ready for a fun day of hockey. By the end of the tournament my head was full of good stories and my face hurt from constant smiling. I am looking forward to making this an annual event and continuing to support a fantastic cause. Keep up the great work guys.”
