NORTHERN ROOTS HOCKEY 

In February 2015, we spent one week in Mongolia, touring the country as ambassadors of the game. Through a grassroots fundraising effort, we were able to take a film crew of three along with us to document the trip. We were at 7 rinks in 5 days, leading skill sessions to enthusiastic hockey players aged 6-60. 500 pounds of gear had also been collected by Tracei Akarlilar and her son Hudson of New York City. They joined us on the trip to leave bags of the donated gear at each rink. It was truly an incredible experience, we will continue to help and support Mongolian Ice Hockey any way that we can. Our next step is to partner with groups to get more gear to the players of Mongolia.
